Senior communication consultant, journalist, columnist and author, with extensive experience in crisis management. His work experience includes having been Director of Corporate Communications at Facebook Latin America, Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Google in Latin America and Senior Manager of Public Relations at Cisco Systems for Latin America. Alberto was a correspondent for the Reuters Agency in Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela and ended his journalistic career as Editor for Latin America. He was also vice president of the public relations agency Fleishman-Hillard. He is the author of the book “Reputation in the era of social control”, which deals with reputational risks of companies from the rise of social networks and “The Horizontal Revolution: The power of communication in the hands of the people”, which in 2009, discussed the effects of the Internet and networks in the way that companies and organizations communicate with their audiences.
